Futureproof Group takes a significant step towards expanding its position in the Brainport region with the successful acquisition of Libra ICT, a leading ICT managed service provider based in Bladel. Libra ICT will maintain its current form and, through this acquisition, gain access to the expertise, experience, and extensive (partner) network of Futureproof Group.
In the past 35 years, Libra ICT, founded in 1988, has evolved into a established player in the Brainport region, distinguished by its local focus, skilled workforce, and high degree of customer orientation. The company is renowned for delivering high-quality and innovative ICT solutions based on Microsoft 365. Libra ICT, with its in-house developed 'LibraLAB,' is a frontrunner in adopting new technologies and platforms.
Libra ICT will continue its operations from its current location, keeping its own identity and name. The collaboration with Futureproof Group allows Libra ICT to maintain its focus on customers with the same motivated team and benefit directly from the financial stability, investment opportunities, and synergies offered by the group.
The acquisition of Libra ICT aligns seamlessly with the growth strategy of Futureproof Group, which recently acquired two other companies in the Brabant region, Avelco Cloud Diensten and Mior ICT Diensten. Consequently, Futureproof Group has obtained a market leading position in the Brainport region, with approximately 50 employees across three prominent ICT service providers.
The day-to-day operations within Libra ICT will largely remain unchanged. Ruud Pijnenburg will continue to oversee operational aspects, while Bart Veldhuis will maintain his focus on the commercial front. Founder Jan Timmers and Jeannine Feidler-Timmers will remain involved in the coming period, ensuring a thorough transition of their responsibilities.
